Lisa Edelstein is an American actress who is best known for her role in House, a Fox medical show, House. Her family was from Wayne and was raised in a strict Jewish tradition. When she was 18, she moved in New York City to study at the Tisch School of the Arts. The school soon became a fixture in New York's club scene and began becoming the talk of the town. The press also noticed her. Then she used her experience as well her fame to write and compose a musical called Positive Me and also starred in the show. In the following months, she got an interview with MTV, hosting Awake on the Wild Side. After the show was finished the actress went on to work in movies and television productions. The first time she worked, she was able to get small parts and established herself in the process of becoming an actress.
