Julia Ormond

JuliaOrmond was the daughter Josephine Lab technician as well as John Ormond (a stockbroker) located in Epsom, Surrey. She is the second child of five children to her parents. She attended private schools, first Guildford High School and then Cranleigh School, where early performance in Guys and Dolls and My Fair Lady began to draw attention. After a year in art school , she was moved to Webber-Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art where she graduated in 1988. Ormond first appeared on British television in the 1989 serial Traffik. The show focused on the illegal trade in heroin across the world, from the far East up to Europe. Ormond played the drug addicted daughter of the main character, who was a Home Office minister in the UK government who was involved in fighting heroin imports. The role was well-received from the very beginning.
